this was the the kinda book I expected when they said this was a “daddy kink.” this was my first time reading a book centred around the ddlg dynamic so it was outta my comfort zone. I honestly have no thoughts I was on autopilot white reading this but I will say I enjoyed reading about her personal journey and experience with depression

This is a really meticulously constructed and layered story that grapples with a lot of heavy topics, interspersed with DDLG erotica. For me, this had too much going on to be enjoyable: the characters were handling many issues and obstacles, internal and external, past and present, and it just became too much. Several plot/conflict points could have been removed to make the book a little bit shorter and more enjoyable without taking away its depth.
