I wanted to like this more than I did. It just didn't catch me and I found Murphy and his narration more annoying than cute. I'm sure others feel quite differently.

hilarious account of one jittery dog's life from sunup to sundown. must be read enthusiastically by and for dog lovers. laugh out loud funny. giggle fit funny.

Captures a dog's thought process really well (or so I assume). Good resource for teaching students about voice.

This story that gives a day in the life of a barn terrier is illustrated in oils. It is not really conducive to a read aloud, not is it really anything special artistically. It is a fun and energetic tale (haha, get it?) but the ALL CAPS FOR THE ENTIRE STORY IS SUPER OBNOXIOUS AND IT FEELS LIKE YELLING.
