I was excited to start this book because I really enjoyed the previous one. Unfortunately, it didn't work as well as Atticus. It was fine enough, and that's the problem. It wwas *just* fine.

I love Taylor Rylan books and honestly everyone is just as good if not better than the last! I love the low angst yet strong storyline in Reinhold’s book. It was so brilliant to see Chase get his man after all he went through. Taylor will always be a one click buy for me xx

This was my favorite couple so far! I was a little disappointed with Chase’s recovery…seemed too fast and easy.

Reinhold
I am enjoying this series so much. Reinhold and Chase were adorable together. Chase had experienced some horrible things and Rein was so understanding and patient. Can't wait to see how things go moving forward.

My favourite of the series so far.
“You aren’t broken, baby. You survived hell. You are so much stronger than you think you are.”
This quote perfectly sums up fated mates Reinhold and Chase. Wolf shifter Chase has lived through a very tragic past and truly believes he is broken because of it. His dragon mate Reinhold is so kind and patient and will do anything to make Chase believe in himself again and that he’s deserving of a wonderful life.
Their story tugged on my heartstrings and it was an absolute joy watching Chase blossom into the man he’s meant to be. The strength and support of Reinhold slowly begins to make him feel safe and as he becomes comfortable around Reinhold’s family, and others, his cheekiness comes out and leads to some very cute and funny moments.
There is no quick fix approach from the author towards Chase and his troubles which I greatly appreciated. Even fated mates sometimes have to tread carefully, seek outside help and work through issues as they arise to go from insta attraction/chemistry to a HEA. Not to say that they don’t get very steamy at times!
I loved this instalment in the series. A new character is introduced, there’s a reappearance of the unknown entity from earlier in the series and once again numerous characters from previous books play their part. I’m excited for more!
