Original and imaginative and beautifully written. Completely not what I expected, plot-wise. Oddly frustrating, but in a very clever way. Unfortunately, I appreciated it more intellectually than viscerally. I suppose there is something that makes me connect much more with secondary than with POV characters in Zen Cho's fiction, at least based on this and The Perilous Life of Jade Yeo.

Estaba muy picada con la historia (las ilustraciones, además, son preciosas) y me encantaba la evolución que estaba teniendo la protagonista, hasta que apareció sin ningún tipo de advertencia, y mi interés hizo ¡puf! y desapareció.

Interesante, me gustó la idea, pero creo que la ejecución dejó que desear. Lo que más aprecié fue el mundo, pero como viene de la religion china, no sé qué tanta creatividad podemos atribuirle lol.
Me habría gustado más exploración de las dinámicas del infierno y de esta especie de inteligencia artificial alrededor de la cual revuelve, porque con lo que nos dieron se sintió como un mero bosquejo. Igual, justo debido a que es cortito, vale la pena leerlo.

Este relato es muy interesante y está bellamente escrito. No le doy más nota porque Me ha pillado en un bloqueo lector y no lo he disfrutado todo lo que debiera. Así pues, no hagáis caso de esta reseña y leerlo. ¡Casi seguro que os encantará!

i dont think i can rate such a short book, but i really liked its idea and the story itself !! it reminded me a lot of another book i like, a dowry of blood, which has very similar plot, too. overall a very short and fast paced read that i’d totally recommend:)
