I was very thrilled with this story because I heard great things about it.
I enjoyed it. I could actually enjoyed it very much, specially thee atmosphere and the world-building, as I never read anything inspired by Chinese folklore.

However, I also had the feeling that the story needed to be longer to satisfy me, as I had the constant sensation that, at the end, there was so much I wanted to know, that there was more to the story. That's why I gave it 3 stars.

I think what I liked most about this story is that it felt like the collision of two different tales. We see the ending of one, and want hope for both endings. Some other people mentioned certain plot points felt lacking, but I chalked it up to the two different stories intersecting at this point of their plot. We shouldn't to know about the Terracotta bride or anything involved with her story. It's not her story right now, it's Siew Tsin's story.

I loved the ending, and I felt satisfied at where it concluded.
