In the beginning, it felt like a brilliantly written story with just a touch of been there done that. If had a similar structure to Tamora Pierce in the beginning, knight school, will go to war will save the day. However, it then slaps you in the face and goes places you could never believe. Kuang goes all the way. Lays the worst of humanity bare and doesn't pull her punches. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

Malgré mes grosses frustrations, j’ai très envie de lire la suite. L’histoire en elle-même est assez bien faite pour vous happer et vous donner envie d’en savoir plus!
