I adored One and Only! I loved everything I got from the funny to the flirty to the sweet. I loved Cam and Jane and this great group of girls that were introduced. It was a truly wonderful read!

I loved Jane and Cam meeting and how challenging he was. They had great dialogue that was engaging and entertaining to read. I am a huge fan of enemy to lover stories filled with a bit of antagonism and verbal banter and these two had it in spades, it was awesome. The story of them coming together was filled with so many great moments as their histories are learned and they open up and share. I loved everything about Cam, seeing who he really was and not who people perceived him to be. I loved Jane and totally got her. I loved watching her really emerge out of her shell and blossom. I could feel the emotion and caring between them, it was very heartfelt.

I thought the first half was pretty fantastic, I was all in absorbing everything and then somehow, the second half was even better. I couldn't read fast enough! I really liked all of Jane’s girlfriends, making me excited about their stories. There was a solid group dynamic between them that I really enjoyed. They all played their roles well, even the bridezilla who I had to shake my head at several times! All the women had distinct personalities and I loved their friendship and bond.

I thought the writing was great. I enjoyed all the descriptions and flow and thought there was a great build to the story. There are personal ups and downs for Cam and Jane, bits of drama mixed in but it’s mostly a lot of fun, a lot of cute, a lot of heat, and a whole lot of awesome! This was an entertaining and sexy read. Loved it!

I love the main characters in this story. Jane and Cameron are so real and relatable. Both have demons that they are dealing with and that affect their view of themselves and their budding relationship. The characters were very well developed and it comes across throughout the story. Cam and Jane spart from the very beginning and you can feel it leap off the page. Jane is strong, sassy, smart, geeky, and loving. While Cam is smart, sexy, stubborn and a warrior. They bring out the best in each other and it’s fun to see.

The secondary characters add spice to the story and the characters. Holiday uses the secondary characters to show different characteristics of her main characters, especially Jane. I wish we had gotten to see more of the dynamics between Cam and his brother – as that was an important part of who Cam is in the story.

I truly enjoyed this story and the dynamics between the various characters. I would however have like more from the climax. Parts of it were really good and fitting for the characters, but it felt like it was less/easier than it should have been in all aspects. It wanted more.

Super cute book that I enjoyed a lot. I do have an issue with the cover though. How about, when a character says they are a size twelve specifically, you put a size twelve (or at the very least size twelve adjacent) person on the cover!?!?

Really enjoyed this, although I felt like Cameron’s self-loathing was dialed up a little too high. Adorable low angst romance with genuinely likable characters, and I liked the backdrop of wedding shenanigans

Responsible Jane is assigned to keep troublemaker Cameron out of trouble as they prepare to be in a wedding of Jane's friend and Cameron's brother. The real trouble? What starts out as flirting fun turns into serious something else in this well plotted romance!

This was my first Romance novel and I had no idea what to expect but yknow what, I wasn't disappointed. This was a fun read from start to end and by the end I found myself genuinely caring for the characters involved.

Great start to a new series!!

I started this series by reading the second book first, but Wendy’s initial reluctance to like Cameron because of his previous behavior intrigued me enough to know that I needed to start from the beginning.

I saw a lot of people mentioning Cameron’s behavior and insinuating that he was kind of a jerk in the beginning of this story but, perhaps it’s because of my experience with a spouse who has PTSD, I could almost pinpoint the issue from the beginning. Which just means that Jenny Holiday did a pretty good job of making Cameron an authentic and well-developed character.

I love how Cameron helped Jane discover her adventurous side by being supportive and suggestive without being aggressive and/or shaming her for being afraid. I appreciate that Jane wasn’t putting herself out there to impress Cameron or to change for him but that instead, he was just the catalyst to her finding that other side of herself. At the same time, I really enjoyed seeing the softer, more vulnerable side to Cameron and how his experiences in war were affecting him but that slowly Jane was slipping past his barriers. My favorite couples are the ones who bring out the best in each other without changing who they are at their core. That makes Jane and Cameron a pretty perfect couple in my eyes.

This book was surprisingly emotional but still romantic and fun. This was a perfect way to introduce this cast of characters and a fantastic start to a new series!!
