Second listen to see if I got anything more out of it. A succinct little story that hints at the world beyond. As usual, the normalcy of the magical realm that Gaiman crafts baffles me in book form, but I love it all the same

This seems to me to be more of an epilogue to "American Gods" than a novella but was interesting all the same since it seemed to me to be a part miniaturisation of the Beowulf legend. An interesting and short read.
