Uh, it was kind of mid. I'm not overly attached to the characters, and the spice was a bit boring, plus I don't love the first night stuff (Katee Robert is the queen of consent, but the "duty" stuff was pushing it for me).

I did like the set up of the world and the dynamics of the brothers, and I will be continuing with the series.

Katee Robert is an odd author for me to read bc sometimes I like her writing a lot and other times it's so atrocious I can't read it. I only got as far as I did in this one bc I was trying to skip through and find the MMF it was hinting towards and everything else was both boring and also made absolutely no sense. And then I finally got to the MMF and it was somehow also boring? Lame af I'm done w this series lol

Smut with illogical plot. Wasn’t my thing.

5 stars for the spicy scenes. 2 stars for the plot. 80% spicy scenes, 20% plot.

it was fine. that’s pretty much all i can say when it comes to this book, but that’s not really a bad thing. think of it as a pleasant “it was fine”!

the novel definitely delivered on the smut front; miss katee robert rarely disappoints when it comes to that. but once again the plot + character development felt extremely rushed. like in abel’s case. how do you go from hating someone to loving them in the span of 4-5 days? the characters just switched up a little too quick for my tastes. but let’s be real, i wasn’t exactly reading it for that lmao

Typical Katee Robert (which I love). Lots of spice. A little plot to keep me entertained. Two men that are obsessed with their woman. Sign me up for the rest of the series.
