just the way your heart accelerated in those last two chapters, specially
the Lisbon sisters (except Cecilia and Mary) die and you think they are going to finally scape and then you see Bonnie’s shoes
it was the deep intensity of those scenes that made me enjoy the book

I finally finished it, it took so long. I couldnt motivate myself to read it, it had good quotes and a rather good writing overall but at the same time it was so boring?? i think it represents the male gaze very well but I think its a mediocre book, I am not a really big fan. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR THIS ONE, the beginning is pretty tough.
