Excellent start to the series. The mythology that unravels as Light kills more and more with the Death Note was a delight to read. I like the artwork a lot too. I will say my first introduction to Death Note was the Netflix movie so I hear Willem Dafoe’s voice when I read Ryuk, but other than that, bump that Netflix movie. The original manga and anime are where it’s at.
