Reader, I was so bored.

I get what Twain was doing, but this one definitely was not for me. Alas.

Eh. Usually Twain appeals to me, especially in short, quotable form, but this wasn't particularly enlightening or interesting. I suppose there was humor to be found in it, but it wasn't really worth the 20 minutes it took to read. Alas!

Then again, I think I had a very short version. Perhaps that was the problem.

Good but short. I enjoyed the distinction between a comic and a humorous story. The humorous story is where the art and craft are. Twain illustrates well. We just needed more of it. Good to read if you're a fan of Twain or a storyteller.

I have always liked Mark Twain. there are some interesting tips and stories in this short volume.
