I love the premise so darn much, but the actual execution was a bit lacking.
I listened to the full cast graphic audio of this book, and I'm not sure how much I liked that. I think it was well made, but the constant use of background music and sound effects were a bit too distracting for me, and I found myself unable to just enjoy the story.

Dina is an Innkeeper at an Inn that specializes in unique guests. She has to follow certain rules as part of her role as Innkeeper. She has to make tough choices when a killer stalks her neighborhood. Will she follow the rules or help save her community. I really enjoyed this book it started off slow to me but picked up quickly with lots of action. The world was very interesting I liked learning more as the book continued. Discovering more about Dina's background and her role as an Inn keeper was great. Sean, Arland and Caldenia were also awesome characters I can't wait to know more about. I will be reading the next book to see what's gonna happen next with Dina and the Inn.

Very fast, entertaining listen. I enjoyed the Inn / Innkeeper lore.

If the woman who fought the Stalker in Costco with Dina doesn't come back in the series some form, it'll be a damn shame. She kicked ass.
