Okay so this continuation is just as great, if not better cause I mean, more drama, more action, more interest? Young Kim has done an AMAZING job at depicting these characters, their facials are so on point and the air about them in these images... I'm in love.

2.5 stars, rounded to 3. I didn't enjoy this second volume as well as the first. The art wasn't quite as good to me, maybe because there weren't any wolves (which were fantastic in the first volume). I caught several small sloppy cells throughout the novel which could have been easily corrected. For instance, there is a background seen of the forest and you can see where the leaves are suddenly cut off as though it is a photo-mosaic. I don't think it was intentional since none of the other forest artwork looked like that. Also, there was a drawing of what I think was meant to be a river bank, but it looks like a shaggy horse leg and a hoof. No joke. I still can't say for sure what it was. On the other hand, there were some really great illustrations, mainly at the end of the novel. It was almost like Kim refined his drawings for the end to complete the novel with a bang. I would only recommend this for Twihards who really enjoyed the first volume.

I think I actually enjoyed this one more than the first!
It was fun to SEE all of the parts that the movie left out or changed... I will definitely check out the next one if my library has it! But I don't really see myself buying these...

I totally forgot that Carlisle literally just turned half of these folks into vampire because they were “dying” and he wanted friends. Sussy
