Good writing, okay plot. It felt like a bunch of fantasies I've read previously, but I'm interested in where this may go.

This book was good, but it was nothing special. It was just an average fantasy book. I won’t be continuing the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The first half of this book felt more or less like a lot of other YA Fantasy books out there. It did, however, begin to pick up about half way through and start to get more interesting. The world building was lacking and a bit too vague for the most part so hopefully that picks up in the next two books.
Can we just talk about Olivia at the end though? Actual chills.

I liked this. Easy to follow, likable characters, good character development, and it only took one day to read. I am excited to start the second in the series.

Oh gosh, this book had me hooked from the very first page. The characters and the world that Tintera has created feels real. You feel their emotions and you want to either cheer for them or hate them. I can't wait to continue reading the series.
