I will read anything Tamsyn Muir writes and I will do it gladly (and possibly for too much money).

I love this dark fairy tale so much. Some parts made me laugh out loud! Truly what an excellent use of a snow day.

The combination of Tamsyn Muir and Moira Quirk is one of my favourite things ever.
This book is so fun.
The writing is brilliant with Tamsyn Muir’s style shining through while we get a twisted semi modern version of Rupunzel.
There are all kinds of fairytale creatures and snarky banter.
A short read/listen and so much fun, as long as you aren’t as squeamish as a real princess.

Excellent thing to read in the hiatus between Nona and Alecto. It has all of Muir's snappy prose, complex female characters & relationships, and enthusiasm for the weird & gory.

I didn’t think I’d like this one, given the blurb, BUT i have to say it pleasantly surprised me. Gotta love Tamsyn Muir! (And also Moira Quirk, who read the audiobook!)

A delectable palate cleanser novella read by the incomparable Moira Quirk. This piece of satire  reminds me of Terry Pratchett (and that’s a high compliment from me). But Tamsyn Muir is tricky and gritty beneath the cute surface in her own unique way. Pure fun, great social commentary, and a quick, compelling little piece to binge on a rainy day.

This was cute, funny, violent, and irreverent. Such a fun twist on fairytales. Plus Moira Quirk’s narration was just perfect as usual! Would definitely recommend.
