An interesting thoughtful read.  A love story and a story of pride and folly.
Brings home again how awful.it would have been to be a woman or poor in ancient times, just viewed as property to be disposed of at the whim of the powerful men.
Petroclus is a real hero in this story.

Love the depth of characters and relationships in this book. I listened to the audio and the narrator was WONDERFUL. Without naming it, Miller unpacks so much about masculinity and heteronormativity through the various relationships she builds and dissects. Fantastic listen.

I have no words. I can’t possibly write a review right now, have to come back later when I’m done sobbing.

There is a biting sweetness to the spear that Miller has delivered straight into my weeping heart. I have been crying for over one hour, now. What a masterpiece.
