This was such an outstanding book, I loved the story. It kept me so enthralled I could barely put it down. This was a first from this author for me, but I will definitely be reading more.

Oh wow! This book really a roller coaster ride. I never read a romance book where there is 2 heroes and 1 heroine. So many secrets, many layer complexion and tons of character development.

I have to admit, i can not stand Maverick. I think she is manipulative and drama queen. But with the story progress, she grows on me. I somehow understand why she did what she did.

This book is back and forth on the time line. I have to concentrate reading it. Blink, then i miss everything. The POV is Maverick's and Kale's. The minor set backs is the story is too dragging. Most of the book dedicated on describing how much Kale loves Maverick. I found its too long.

Overall i enjoy this book.

DNF - I didn’t get past the first chapter, I didn’t even read past the dressing room. I went in blindly after someone on booktok highly recommended it for the drama. So maybe it’s my fault that I couldn’t look past the brother sister, sister brother thing. I mean…. It has a lot of 5 stars and I’m judging all of you lol

Coming into this, I expected what the book was about but it was giving the old school kind of nostalgia you can’t get from books nowadays. It was predictable, but I didn’t hate it nor did I love it.

I feel like if some of the chapters were executed better and the unnecessary scenes made way for the development of the backstory rather than dragging it and dumped all of the information at the last minute within the last four chapters, it would have been worth reading.

I guess I didn’t expect the nostalgic vibe the book gave. That, I appreciated.

this book is not at ALL what you would think. it’s absolutely insane. this is the most misleading plot summary i have ever read and im kinda grateful for it?

it honestly took me a couple of chapters to love maverick. she was so selfish in the beginning, but once you start to understand her she becomes such a great mc. let me just say. i was team kael from DAY 1. WHAT A MANNNNN. god every time she was thinking about killian i wanted to kill her. LOOK AT THIS INSANE MAN YOU HAVE IN FRONT OF YOU. he really would do anything for her. fuck killian for real. kael and mav ending up together was so insane. i love this so much.

this love story is so complex and crazy. love is hard. and i fr respect kael for everything he went through. i mean, the love of his life was in love with his BROTHER??? and still he persevered. he loved her enough for the both of them. thats so crazy. i have never been happier for such an ending. and also, marylou you are a true bestie. 4.5

Such a good story.. Who will she choose.. There is so much back and forth that you really need to pay attention to the chapter heading or it will very confusing.. I went back to re read chapter 1 after 30% in to see if I missed something but decided I just needed to pay closer attention to each chapter heading.. So many secrets and things I didn't see coming.. You will want to continue reading just to find out where things are going..

3.8 stars Holy mother of all love triangles

This review will be brief, not because I didn't like the book but because it's gonna be a bit difficult to express all without giving away spoilers. This is one of those stories that can only work in the book-world. The book is good, well written, the characters are well rounded.
There's parts of the story that I feel were unnecessary to the plot and the tale the characters and author were telling and it's what set my rating. That aside, that ending sold the book and made everything worth it, I just wish the reason for it all had been more, just more than what it was.
I hope the guy that was left on the sidelines gets a HEA. I feel kinda bad for him, he wasn't a bad guy just a guy screwed by not only his choices but also everyone else's.
