This was good if not a bit slow at times. The ending was very ambiguous less cliffhanger than I thought it would be. I really loved seeing Erin and her guys. It was great to meet the newbie. And how can you not love Sage and her guys.

And it's gone.
So I liked the first one in the series, but this second one was more of a struggle to get into. Sage is gathering her group together and discovering all the gifts they have. I think the might be part of the issue that there's too much going on to really do anything one idea justice. It's not a bad book, just okay.

I say medium pased because although I did read it fast and everything happened in a short time window, it felt like nothing happened and like I was reading forever.
The normal (which is too many) editing errors but there were also plot errors and times when the characters names were mixed up.
I just want to know what the Demon academy is like, then I doubt I’ll keep reading.

This series about the tattoos just get better as it goes along. The school is super scary and I wonder how it will all work out together. The burn is slower than I usually read but I really did like it a lot. The abuse that she had from her "family" is crazy. I hope that everything works out for them. These books are just getting better and better.
