I'll admit, this book was on par with my feelings on The One. Both endings were happy and sweet and ended the way I wanted them to, kind of. I did want Eadlyn to end up with Kile, but I understand that he is a man that wanted to be out of the castle walls for a long time to do what he loves; to be an architect. Hale was my next choice, but I didn't really see that plot twist coming where him and Ean are gay. It makes sense too because that's an easy way to send two characters home according to Cass.
I did really enjoy that when the problem with Marid arose, Eadlyn didn't hide it from her parents and advisors forever. She told them immediately and that made me really happy, because there's nothing I hate more than the withholding of important information.

Although I had a rough relationship with The Selection series, I will say that I will quite miss it. I believe this is the last book that Cass is writing about this world. I'm sad because these books are pure fluff and they are so easy to read. I loved them.

Like all of the selection novels, this is complete fluff reading, and I absolutely loved it. I hated the main character at first, but watching her grow through her two books was great, and the bachelor-esque plot with a big twist at the end hit me right in the feels.

As usual, Kiera Cass has trouble closing. Entertaining read that leaves much to be desired.

*Spoilers ahead*
This was such an amazing ending to this series! I love the character development of Eadlyn in this book and OMG Henri at the end was just the sweetest character! I would marry him! He is just so selfless and he makes his friend and the women he loves so happy even though it means maybe sacrificing his happiness I just can't deal with it! Hale and Ean were such a shock but I'm so glad it happened. I would love to read about Eadlyn and Erik's wedding. Such a great book I would recommend this entire series to everyone!
