This is a delightful tale in which the author gives you enough info so if you don't read the first 3 your really still able to follow the characters, and oh isn't the main character a hoot! I seem to remember this version as a bit more racey (not for the pre-teen reader) than previously but still a great read. All six tales are sequenced yet this book starts the final and main story I would gather, it definately will leave you wanting to know more and ready to grab the next one!

I'm still enjoying reading this series... however, I'm not enjoying reading about Wesley's newest vice and seeing Coop struggle.

This keeps getting crazier and crazier, and I love it! This one was different because it didn't get resolved, but they all pick up right where they left off.

Best mystery if the series yet! Thanks to Ohio Link I didn't have to wait any longer since that person at the library just won't bring the copy back fast enough. On to number 5!

If you havenā€™t read the rest of the series (start with Body Movers by Stephanie Boyd), then probably skip to the last paragraph. Light spoilers and just ramblings that will make no sense if you arenā€™t familiar with the books. (look for the **** below!)

UGH. Carlotta needs to find a better guy. Why did she stop Peter. Why is she trying to rekindle a relationship with Peter when she isnā€™t feeling it. Why doesnā€™t she care more about whatā€™s going on with Cooper ā€“ even as a friend, heā€™s just a good guy ā€“ and why isnā€™t she leaving Jack the heck alone! Heā€™s admitted he doesnā€™t really want Carlotta as anything more than just ā€œfunā€. (Can you tell Iā€™m totally ā€˜shipping Cooper right now?) And why is Wes still being dumb? Heā€™s written as a character you want to like but he just continues the bad choices. Oxy? Really????

Getting a little frustrated with this series because Carlotta needs to figure a whole heck of a lot of stuff out. There were some good moments ā€“ she decided to basically work a case in this one that the police didnā€™t have time to solve. But she also isnā€™t good at taking care of herself and is way too quick to trust Wes when he has definitely not been proving his trustworthiness. And while I can kind of get it, her father definitely still holds too much power over her choices. She at least seems to be starting to understand thatā€¦

This post is going to make no sense if you havenā€™t read the series, so go read it!

***safe from spoilers!

While Iā€™ve been a bit frustrated with how things are moving in this series, I would still recommend it. Iā€™m going to take a little break and read something else (I have read 4 this weekā€¦), but Iā€™ll be back to this series soon. Iā€™ll go 6.5 of 10 H (I recommend the series but this wasnā€™t my favorite book of the series ā€“ as of now, Iā€™ll go with 2 Bodies for the Price of 1 as my favorite) and 4.5 of 5 H. They are nice and fluffy reads, which is pretty much why Iā€™ve been reading them this week!

Carlotta is still making stupid decisions with the 3 men in her life. Pick one already. I want to know the mystery behind Coop so I'll continue with the next book in the series. They are frustrating but I keep reading them

There are some good moments in these books, but not enough to make them good books. Most of the characters are really vile human beings and I find it difficult enjoying a book when I don't like the main characters.
I ordered the first seven of these books and I'll read them but it's hard to generate any enthusiasm. Most of the male characters are misogynists. The female characters are spineless strumpets.
