"You're still the fire that keeps me warm when life becomes cold. You're still the voice that keeps the darkness at bay. You're still the reason my heart beats. You're still the air in my lungs. You're still my greatest high. And I am still truly, madly, painfully in love with you. And I don't think I'll ever know how to stop."

Aly and Lo's romance is equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking. They meet as teenagers and instantly become best friends before becoming more two years later. But then tragedy breaks them apart until they're reunited five years later.

While they're from different sides of the track, so to speak, they both long to be loved by their parents. They're there for each other through every high and low, in the past and the present.

"You're okay, Logan Francis Silverstone."
"I'm okay, Alyssa Marie Walters." 😭

Your heart will break for Logan as he's dealt blow after blow (literally and figuratively). But his character development is a joy to witness.

Kellan and Logan's relationship is also integral to the story, and my goodness, I am glad they all got their HEA.

Finally, I must mention Brittainy's beautiful writing because, once again, she had me spellbound by her words.
