This was probably my favourite (one of) books that I've had to read for school. I hope that I'll be capable of analysing it correctly in the upcoming exam. I really enjoyed it, and really understood the message - although I guess it wasn't too hard to.

Repetitive, characters have 1 trait, nothing is explained as to the reasoning for the character acting the way they do, characters are horrible and there’s no conclusion. Horrible.

A very interesting metaphorical story told in a train of thought-esque style. The family were all very interesting to learn about, and they were an effective way of talking about revolution without actually talking about revolutions. The author does use a lot of repetition in their writing, which doesn't particularly bother me but I can see why it could get annoying sometimes. This was a short book that I enjoyed a lot and that has a very interesting style.
