This book needed an editor. So many typos, garbled sentences, and repeated statements throughout.

Generally I don't think the insights of the authors have any major issues, but the book is a bit dated in some aspects and the authors feel very boomer-y as they write about some topics. The discussion around Minecraft was especially cringey. Technology seems to be edging in a different direction than what the authors primarily discuss, but many of their insights on societal, economic, and scientific implications of 3D printing remain relevant.

But when you find yourself stuck on a sentence that you can't quite parse because one of the words turns out to be nonsense, the insights kind of fall to the wayside. Just not a very well put together book.

Overall for a book covering 3D printing I think the author did a great job. I just was hoping for a more in depth coverage of bioprinting but I can't really blame the author for that I guess
