Elena is the daughter of a Russian journalist who mysteriously disappeared. She escaped the danger the only way she knew how, by marrying her childhood friend, Vladimir and moving to the United States. While she has a marriage of convenience with the professional hockey player, Vlad has been trying to show her he does really love her but it is so far one-sided. When Vlad is injured in a hockey game, Elena must try to help in his recovery and the Bromance Bookclub men are going to seize the opportunity to help Vlad.
This was another sweet and fun tale, with a little mystery in there too. I loved re-visiting the book club and their antics and while some parts were predictable, I didn't mind as I just adore this series. Another wonderful instalment by the author.
Thanks so much to the team at Hachette Australia for this gifted review copy.

I have liked of the Bromance Book Club books but #3 was a bit of a disappointment. I knew I would try again though because it is a fun premise and I was really happy with Isn't It Bromantic. Vlad and Elena were fun main characters and it is always fun to get the crew back together. I laughed out loud a lot with all the scenes with the cheese man and I liked the mirroring between the book in the book and the main story. There was a lot of miscommunication, which is a pet peeve of mine, but I liked it a lot regardless. 4*

The romance felt chaotic but romantic as compared to the other books before. The author somehow managed to create sexual tension every time the MCs are in the same room together. It's humorous, tense, dramatic, sometimes frustrating, an overall, a really entertaining book and so far (I haven't read the 5th book yet) the best in the series. Plot wise, it does feel similar to the 3rd book but it has more emotions thrown around, more characters for the MCs to interact with constantly, and a romantic pairing you root for as soon as the story began.
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Kidnapping
Minor: War

The Russians story was SO good!! Not only does this giant sweet hockey playing teddy bear love romance novels he also writes them!! Oh how Elaine and Vlads story made my heart so happy! This marriage of convenience book was so sweet! The boys are still so funny with their shenanigans! This might be my favorite one so far!

I wondered if Vlad, the Russian, would ever get his own spotlight and I’m so glad he did!!! After growing up in a strongly Russian influenced country, I loved all the references to culture and food and language! It made me feel right at home and skyrocketed this one up into “favorites” territory! I loved how she put a different spin on all the tropes! I’d recommend this one to anyone! It left me laughing, feeling all the happy feels with the biggest smile on my face.

I love vlad! He is so quirky and such a lover in all the other books he reminds me of a big teddy bear. I was so excited for his book since we’ve heard such little about his wife. This book did not disappoint, it was so good and lived up to Vlads goofy, loving self.
