I think this book was very interesting and am happy to have learned so much. The parts that are harder to understand are explained in easier terms so that I think I got everything. I am pretty sure that I need to reread it to comprehend even more because there was a big amount of new information.

An interesting book, though I found it a little light on the science and a bit too heavy on the speculation. The style tries so hard to be approachable that it becomes off-putting. Still, I learnt some interesting things!

Very insightful and Interesting. I learned a lot and was shocked. A good read. Do feel it was a bit limited at times more discussion on other reasons women take birth control eg. PCOS could have been beneficial.

helpful but also feels like it’s trying to avoid “picking a side” which might not always be helpful for a reader who wants to hear someone’s personal beliefs and perspectives. good for just finding objective statistics though.

A very interesting and accessibly written summary of what little we know about birth control. A lot of the research is new and the conclusions are speculative, which Hill acknowledges at every turn. As she emphasizes, there is no "right" or "wrong" birth control solution for everyone. She shares the research so women can make informed decisions for themselves.

A bit dated and the author seems to not be as much of an actual exspert as she makes out.
