Graphic: Blood, Self harm, Violence, Gore, and Murder
Moderate: Child abuse and Sexual assault
Minor: Addiction
The childhood sexual abuse is mentioned on page. It is slightly descriptive however it does not go into full details but it is very obvious what is happening when read in full context. Also this book does have themes of religious ideologies, FMC grows up with an abusive religious father.mojidaa's review against another edition

I shouldn’t have my expectation so high up.
Nope. I wanted to love this book because my gosh I love myself a hot silver fox, but this book was so boring..
Cillian and Una were so bland, so so so so bland. Like they didn’t even get to annoy me because I just simply didn’t care about them. That’s how insignificant they were. (I don’t know if that makes sense.) Ok, I know he was psychotic and stuff but like that part of him, I felt, was so badly executed. So badly, I don’t even know what was he supposed to be. Don’t even get me started with Una. Girl, sissy, no.
I don’t think I need to tell you how blurry and shallow the plot was, do I? I’m genuinely sad. I love age-gap. I love dark romance. And this book has both of them but I didn’t enjoy it in the slightest. I think one of the reasons is also because this book having the same issue, same antagonist, from the first book as the main plot just..didn’t sit well with me. Like give me some new challenges to read man, I’m bored.

I have found my triggers.
I love Jagger but for me this was a tough read. Turns out I'm not good with the rougher side of bdsm.
The main characters were amazing though and loved them outside the bedroom.
All the side characters were as always with Jagger so fun and I can't wait for more in this series..

Blue. That’s the safe word. Check the trigger warnings—twice—and be prepared to say it. Otherwise the darkness may start to feel like a trap and leave you haunted.
(FYI the italicized flashbacks contain the heaviest content. I had to learn my limits and eventually skim those parts.)
Jagger knows how to tell a sordid story. And I really loved book one in the series. But I’m not sure I’ll pick this one up again, only because it started to feel like reading a nightmare and apparently, that’s my limit.
*I’m leaving it unrated for now bc the writing is amazing.
I just need to process the content. those who love very dark rom will enjoy this one.
