🔫 mafia romance
💒 arranged marriage
🔪 enemies to lovers
😱 she's sent to kill him but falls for him

"I might be broken, Una...But I have never felt more fixed than when I'm with you."

Yeess!! I knew I'd love this book! Of what I saw of Cillian in the first book, I just knew. He's a psychopath with this dark sexy edge but he's really protective of his family. 🥺

Una was a badass and she also cracked me up. Being the daughter of Seamus O'Connor, the Kildare family's enemy, she's been through shit. She's sent by a ghost of her loathed deceased father's follower Apostle to kill Cillian. But her kinky dark desires take over 🤭

No legit 🤣 her mind was always in the gutter. But I don't blame her, being near Cillian would do the same to me. The man was spicy 😛

Maybe he’s a monster and a psychopath. Maybe we all are, a little. But maybe two broken pieces can fit together to be whole again.

I loved how both Cillian and Una had a dark side that called to each other. And Una actually made Cillian's demons get quiet 🥺 the way he latched onto Una and become so protective of her 🤌🤌 They were a perfect match. Their energies were met so seamlessly.

It made so such lovely spice! I think this book in this series really brought it. 😛 it's a bit kinkier than the others with CNC, breath play, edging, and impact play.

I love the Kildare-Drakos family antics. Such a loud bunch. They were rightfully wary of Una but it was so touching how the ladies got over it quick to bring her in and make her feel part of the fam. The fam that Cillian is so protective of 🥺

There were a few editing errors I noticed though that were glaring. Of course most didn't impact my reading too much but there definitely was a moment where I was lost because the wrong name was used.

And the final climax of the plot? Phew got the heart pumping as always! Jagger Cole doesn't mess around with putting his characters through hell for a bit from the three I've read. I liked that it wasn't a conflict between the couple but more so an external force. And you bet I guessed it 😎

This is not what I expected and I am not disappointed.
This is a good mafia book with some spice (🌶️🌶️🌶️/5)
I am not found of the FMC because instead of rising, I thought she was more collapsing. Perhaps it was on purpose regarding her history. Either way, I did not connect much as the book progresses.

Story: 5 out of 5
Spice: 5 out of 5
Plot: 5 out of 5
World Building: 5 out of 5

Five fuk'n stars. Bravo Jagger Cole! As much as this is a love story with uber spicy scenes, it also throws in a helluva thrilling plot twist.

I was first introduced to Cillian in Dark Kingdom, and instantly knew I would fall in love with his crazy story and I wasn't wrong one tiny bit. Una and Cillian are perfect together, even if she stabbed and tried to kill him more than once.

We learn about Cillian's childhood and how he evolved into the man is he today, as well as learn about Una and her true inner darkness that she's forever hidden from the world. Do heed the authors content warnings as this story deals with some heavy issues.

If you love a dark mafia romance that includes a thrilling twist, revolves around a true psychopath hero that will kill anyone who even touches his woman, and a heroine that will and has made multiple attempts to kill for those she loves then you will love this spicy as hell love story. There are even several laugh out loud moments thrown in there (ie. the car scene with Castle and Cillian after he's been stabbed).

Vicious Hearts will leave you running to read about all the other men in this world Jagger Cole has so brilliantly created. I love your writing so much!

I was sent a free book and am voluntarily leaving this honest review. Thank you Jagger Cole and Valentine PR for allowing me the opportunity to read this before its official release.

My favorite laugh out loud moment between Castle and Cillian~
“So, a girl…”
“Just drive.”
“A single—”
“Drive the damn car.”
“Like, are we talking a Viking-sized—”
“Stop fucking talking and drive.”
