One of the fastest reads out there. I really enjoyed this psychological thriller. I convinced a couple of other people to read it. Very well written!

I’m speechless. The ending was just as satisfying as I wanted it to be. I’m really glad that Jack died. He deserved it. And now that I think about it, it’s all thanks to Millie. If it was not for the pills that Millie sneaked for Grace, then Jack would still be alive. That monster deserved a more brutal way to die, though. But nonetheless, I’m glad he’s dead.
This book was kind of heavy for me, and hard to get through at times. Grace’s life was turned upside down just because of a monter’s selfish desires. And poor Millie was going to be dragged into it too if Grace had not acted. This is a great thriller, but of the heavy type. But I couldn’t stop reading it and I wanted to know what would happen, so that’s how you know it’s a good thriller.. I think B A Paris had done a great job in this book and although this is my first book for this author, but I think that all their books have the creepy but good thriller concept or vibes. Anyways, although I would not pick this book if I wanted to feel good but it is definitely a five star.

This was a quick read. For me this probably leaned closer to 3.5 but is definitely a solid 3, but I probably wouldn't recommended unless you are wanting a quick read with very little to no surprise in it!

3.5 stars. This is a wild ride of a book! Grace a 30-something with a 17-year-old sister (who has Down's Syndrome) has resigned herself to believe that she will never find the perfect man. She will obtain custody of her sister, Millie, once she turns 18 and feels like most men wouldn't want to take on that responsibility.

However, one day she meets Jack. He seems perfect and too good to be true, a handsome and high-powered lawyer, who seems to have an affection for Millie as well as Grace. He persuades Grace to marry him just a short three months after meeting each other. Unfortunately for Grace, Jack is too good to be true which he demonstrates on the first night of their wedding.

While large parts of this novel seem implausible and unrealistic (thus the 3.5 rating), it truly kept me entertained, is a quick read, and has the most satisfying ending.
