I’m a bit torn on how to rate this, because I couldn’t put it down and HAD to find out what happened, but on the other hand Jack is a cartoonishly portrayed villain with zero redeeming qualities and Grace’s initial bad decisions are infuriating to read. The ending is satisfying though.

Honestly, I got a few chapters in and I started feeling physically sick and asked myself if I really wanted to carry on with this book. Some of the subjects that the author touches on were very heavy. Saying that though, I had to carry on reading to see how it ended as I didn’t want to leave the story at any negative points.
