This was such a great read. I loved how the mystery had me guessing. I had my guesses, but I didn't guess it correctly, I love being surprised! Great book! :)

I sometimes wonder why I keep reading cozy mysteries like this one. I get so irritated at the amateur sleuth who rushes off into danger. But I did enjoy that this book seemed to zip right off to the ending, which I didn't really expect.

The main character in these books dries me nutty sometimes. I just want to shout your a grown women follow the rules.

Another fun adventure with Sadie Hoffmiller. Some fun twists and turns, but I wasn't that surprised with this one. Sadie is starting to get herself into some serious trouble. Some of it was pretty farfetched but it was a fun little escape for a few days.

While some of the details may have been a surprise, the person who did it was not a big surprise to me.

I liked this book. I was surprised at the ending. All in all a good book.

This is the second book in the series I've read (the first being English Trifle). It was interesting but not compelling. I almost had to force myself to finish it. I had almost no emotional connection with the main character and didn't find the story all that unique. Both books of the series that I've read have "twists" at the end, which are really nothing more than throwing in a random last event that supposedly ties everything together. The twists really just feel like the author wanted something unexpected, but had no idea what it was going to be herself. I will not finish this series, but didn't hate it to the point of telling others not to read it. On the plus side, there's no drugs, sex, violence, or swearing in these books.
