I enjoyed reading this but there were parts that showed how much processing she still had left to do. Published just 4 years after her escape from the FLDS, that's understandable. But she says some negative things about groups of women (some of whom go on to be her step daughters) that were unfair. Jessop says they felt superior to everyone else, but it's plain to see from the reader's perspective that they were also just doing everything they could to survive.
