It took me a while to get into this book. I didn't like how she was stringing both Kellum and Denny along. If Denny was an ass hole it wouldn't have bothered me.

This book reminded me of a tennis match...Your head turns one way and then back the other way, over and over and over. And the story went on forever...Kiera drove me crazy with her back and forth between Denny and Kellan. Both men should have run for the hills!

3.5 stars actually. I read most of the book realised she seriously wasn't going to own up to her...actions and just skipped to the part where she does.
Which is in the end. The VERY end.
I really liked Kellan though.
I liked this one line he says (apart from the many others)

"But… don't know how to let you in again." [...]
"I don't know how to keep you out either."

Not the EXACT words, but yeah this is what he says.

I had a love hate relationship with this book. It is very long and yes parts dragged for me and I wanted to slap Kiera and shack the s#$t out of her, however the overall book was good. (if not too long). If you can handle the long haul and the back and forwards of the storyline then you will like it. Yes it is full of frustrations for me, but I am a sucker for love. I will be listening to the next in the series.

Thoughtless....the perfect description for Keira! This is where the book looses a star for me.
I don't think anyone could truly be that naive! Did she really think that cuddling, holding hands and flirting innocently (is that even really a thing!) would not eventually lead to something and that the guy wouldn't eventually want more!
I REALLY am not a fan of this girl! Selfish would be another word.
But Kellan. Poor poor tormented Kellan. If you were a Travis fan ([b:Beautiful Disaster|11505797|Beautiful Disaster|Jamie McGuire|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327212014s/11505797.jpg|16441531] then I think Kellan is his long last brother!! I gotta be honest, he could do so much better.
And poor Denny, the poor guy didn't do anything wrong but love her & trust her. Misplaced trust as it turns out. *shakes head*
But seriously the writing in this book had me sitting on the edge of my seat, I nearly felt as torn up as Kellan did. You feel every kiss, every heated moment, every argument.
I had said to myself that I wouldn't go straight into [b:Effortless|11709423|Effortless (Thoughtless, #2)|S.C. Stephens|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1307981121s/11709423.jpg|16657003] because I couldn't take anymore angst for a while & also that Thoughtless finished kinda perfect....but yet here I am 20% into it LOL.
So in conclusion if, like me, you loved [b:Beautiful Disaster|11505797|Beautiful Disaster|Jamie McGuire|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327212014s/11505797.jpg|16441531] or enjoyed the likes of [b:The Vincent Boys|12900174|The Vincent Boys (The Vincent Boys, #1)|Abbi Glines|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327184585s/12900174.jpg|17572318] than this is the book for you.

LOVED IT.

KIERA AND KELLAN'S ROLLER COASTER RELATIONSHIP WAS INTENSE!!!

I didn't expect to love this book. it's a real page turner. Sort of got annoyed with Kiera though.
Halfway throughout the book I just kept on screaming at Kiera to make up her damn mind!!

It showed me the complications of love triangles. Didn't seem fun at all.

I first read this when it came out, and finished it in two days. I couldn’t put it down. It quickly climbed my list of favorite books. I recently re-read it and wanted to see if it still held up. I still love it, but it’s not as great as I remember. During my re-read, things bothered me that didn’t stand out after the first read through.

Kellan is a sasshole, and I was still immediately drawn in and rooting for him.

Denny has a sweet golden retriever energy and has his moments, but he’s no Kellan.

Kiera is a spineless hot mess. Can. Not. Stand. Her! It’s like she was stereotypically written based on all of the worst traits of Libra’s. Like, make up your mind! The number of times I wanted to scream at her, channeling Red Foreman:

The rain scene is still my favorite, and absolutely still holds up.

Good, but dragged

Reading this book is like watching a train wreck, but in slow motion. From the start, you realize this will be a love triangle, you just don't know how it will develop. Once you get to know the characters, then you get the action. Kiera is immature and naive and somewhat selfish. Her selfishness doesn't come from wanting two things at the same time, but because she's so insecure, she can't let go of the known to venture into the unknown. Denny is the opposite, completely selfless, maybe too caring and laid back. He bent to all of Kiera's wishes, and in doing so, he harmed their relation. Kellan, who everyone who has read the book is touting as a rock god, was also insecure.

I don't agree with other reviewers who said Kiera is a selfish slut and Kellan is a hunk. I think both were reprehensible in their action, causing a lot of hurt to Denny who did not deserve it. They were just two persons who met and fell in love and didn't know how to handle it with honor and honesty. After all, both were young 20's and Kellan didn't have good role models. Kiera did, but she was pathetically insecure and socially stumped.

Such as it is, the story developed pretty much as expected. Kiera and Kellan were fraught with guilt and unfulfilled lust, and Denny sensed something was wrong but didn't have the guts to confront Kiera.

The comings and goings, the promises to be good, to fix this, etc. were predictable in love triangle, but they got to be dreary and around the middle of the book it just got boring for me and I had to take a break. I finished by skimming some scenes.

Finally, everyone did all the growing up they needed to do and we finally got our HEA. Secondary characters were a big element to enjoy in this book, the D-bags, Jenny, Anna. At first I thought Anna was the slut and she ended being the big sister that Kiera needed. Entertaining book, except for the dragging chapters around the middle, and/but not for everybody.
