Armed with the classic friends to lovers trope, we follow playboy turned celibate, Hunter, meeting newly single and ready for a rebound, Demi. And Demi is going to fight for what she wants… and I was here for it.

After liking The Risk so much, I thought I’d check out another Elle Kennedy book and I was not disappointed. Again, with the sexually liberated female. Woot woot. I quite liked their chemistry and organic development of friendship before we start to see them fall in love.

I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would. The love story between Demi and Hunter was cute, but the other subplots didn’t do it for me

*Reread

Whenever I read an Elle Kennedy book, I'm there for the plot and the smut. The writing is okay, and some of the slang/talking styles she uses sometimes makes me think "do we really talk like that?" But like I said, not much thoughts, just vibes.
Easy sports romance for comfort reading.
