This volume got quite a bit darker than the previous one but yet still had that hit of innocence and kindness.

I really do like the format that this series is, something I havent read before as its told more as a dairy than as a flowing story (even though it seems to be in chronological order so far)

The final chapter was really nice too, looking forward where elainia goes from there.

Extremely dark and depressing, except for the last chapter, which was rushed. There was physical abuse, slavery, suicide, forced abortion, murders, etc. The main character accidentally helps some of these things happen. Based on the content, this should be older teen or mature. I will not continue reading the series as it is soulless and upsetting for no reason.

Pretty dark, actually, compared to the first volume. Still good, though.
