A messy and beautiful story about dying, grief and life in general. Sometimes life is messy and for once we have a short book where the author isn’t afraid to show it.

Absolutely gorgeous sections on dealing with grief. My cheeks are wet with tears from the last few chapters. Read the whole thing in one sitting, a good, nice quick read! ❤️

I didn’t know anything about this book going into it. It’s a novel about grief and friendship and how the way we love others is both wonderful and heartbreaking. Ash is walking her lifelong best friend through hospice care, and while the story is sad it’s also beautiful. I listened on audio and thought the narration was great.
