I started this a year ago and just never got into it enough to finish it. I skip around though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Good development in this book but felt a little repetitive and another cliffhanger?

The continuation of Noelle and Rafaelo’s story. This book has a lot of unraveling from both characters past. It’s dark. Really dark.
Author Veronica Lancet has such beautiful writing and her way with words, the storyline grips you from page to page. When you may think of one character, the twists give you a whole new look on each and every single character in the story.
Noelle isn’t as innocent as we thought. Both Noelle and Raf are keeping secrets from one another while also falling in love with eachother. It’s a whirlwind of emotions and as the reader, knowing their inner thoughts… it’s a dark storyline when we start to unravel what everyone has gone though.
Then we have Michelle. Raf’s brother who is the most irredeemable character I’ve ever read about. He’s truly psychotic and terrifying. He crosses every possible line of fucked up you can think of.
I was rooting for him until he hit my one and only trigger.
Trigger Warning

I just didn’t like it
It was to long and kind of hard to fallow. I feel like it never really answered questions. And the fact there is 3 more books. I normally won’t leave a series unfinished because I have to know how it ends. But I just have no interest in the rest

I read the first book and thought it was okay. They aren't standalone as so if a want closure I thought I had to read the next book not realizing there are 4 that you have to read. I had a hard time really getting into it and couldn't see myself wanting to read the rest of the books.
