This was slightly better than the first short story collection, but still note great. This was such a huge disappointment. I really disliked the Luna storyline in the first short story. It seemed out of character for her and completely missed the mark. The second short story was meh, but kind of giving some creepy young girl- older guy vibes. And the last short story was so hard to follow; it just didn't make sense.

I say skip these 2 short story collections unless you are just truly invested in reading all the manga in this world.

This one contains 3 stories. The first one takes a little more than half the book and is actually very decent and definitely the best of all short stories in the two books of short stories combined. The last one is very bad. Supposed to be funny and it's really not. I actually thought about skipping it at some point. The second one is neither bad or good. I don't have a lot to say about the shorts.

I was a bit let down with this volume. It is the last one in the series I have and the lack of character depth struck me with a force that tried to shatter my childhood addiction to smitherines.
This is one of the series I will try to soften the blow by reading some fanfiction of.

The first two stories were so interesting! Princess Kaguya's Lover and Casablanca Memory was so good because with the first story it is completely a side story really unrelated but we get more look at Luna, her character, and human version that didn't get as much attention as Artemis or Diana and I enjoyed that! We also got to see Winter in this series!!! (Because I swear it always seemed like the action was happening in spring or summer but we really couldn't tell the time of year) as with Casablanca Memory I like that it gives us more insight into Rei, and her background. It's only offhandedly mentioned that her father works in politics and that she doesn't like men but this story tells us why and actually shines a light that Rei DID like two men in her life (Jadeite in their past life, and her Father's successor in this life) though I will say the relationship with her father's assistant made me a bit uncomfortable because the story seems to change back and forth a bit so I don't know at what age she kissed him but we can definitely tell he is MUCH older then her in that scene. I didn't like with the other short story bind up, like the last story. I think it was funny to see the Sailor Scouts have little mini them daughter's and to see that Usagi had a second daughter but the story just was suck a joke, which was funny but at the same time I could have done without...

This one has a long story about Luna, which has everything I love about the series, only told in a more coherent fashion and without any padding. I loved it to bits. And cried, of course.

there's basically two long stories this volume followed by a final fluff piece with alt!universe sailor scout kids. in the first and longest story luna falls in love with a astrophysicist. he's already got a childhood friend pretty clearly signalled as a love interest. it's sweet and i liked that the eventual romantic resolution had no bitterness to it whatsoever. the second one is about rei where she again affirms that she is not presently interested in romance with the gentlemen, also reaffirming that she is forever my bae. rae hino GETS ME
