I have loved every Mercy Thompson book, and this book was no exception. It was gripping and intriguing. Patricia Briggs has outdone herself again. I can't wait to continue the series. I never want it to end. I also want Crusty Christy as I call her to just leave and never be in another book. She make me so mad. But other than that.... I also love Ben and the character he has become.

This has got to be one of my favorite Mercy books of the whole series. Everything really changes for the pack and Mercy, allowing the stories to continue being written. It opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

Pretty standard adventure for the series. I appreciated that this one stayed fully in 'fade to black' territory for the married couple moments.
Annoyed that MLMs were equated with pyramid schemes, as there is a difference, however problematic MLMs can be at times. (Pyramid schemes have NO product at all.)

Another great book by Patricia Briggs! I absolutely love spending time in the Mercy Thompson world, visiting with both the Columbia Basin Pack and the Marrock's personal pack in Montana. This book introduced lots of interesting new information and we got to meet some interesting and promising new characters as well. I know Fire Touched just came out recently, but I already can't wait for the next installment !

This seemed to get a slow start. But the finish was good with an unexpected twist or two.

As usual, Patricia Briggs delivers up another exciting romp through the world of Mercedes Thompson! Fire, fey, and stubborn women collide...again. Was exactly the combination of humor, action, weirdness, and sexy werewolf I was hoping for!
