***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***
This is the last book in the series and it did not disappoint! I am so sad to see this series end, but with Juliana Haygert as the author, we are guaranteed to hear more about the Demon Hunters in future "Rite World Universe" stories!
This was a very fast paced book with lots of twists, focused on the couple of main characters, sometimes so much the others don't get enough space - but it's Erin and Rey's story, after all. The conclusion is satisfying, though after such an epic battle and nice epilogue I wish to see more of some characters' lives as well. Yet this is up to my imagination probably :) Overall, this was a great series, and I don't regret picking the books up and devoting my scarce free time to reading them.

If you haven't read this series, I would suggest you give it a try!

Have to admit, I lost interest halfway into this book. Hating on myself, since I loved the rest of the series. I just felt like it has been going on forever with the same problems. I still love the series, and I still love the book.

Rey is gone, taken, captured and in the possession of the King of the underworld, Erin's father. He is captured but he is determined to escape and go back to Erin.

Erin is lost, so many things have gone wrong, and it is a struggle to keep moving forward. But she wants to get Rey back, and the only way to save him is to restore the soulbond, which they both destroyed willingly.

SO much goes on in this book in such a small amount of time, I felt like this book could have been the entire series. The rest of it was finding out who she is and what she is capable of. This book is where all of the meaning behind those books come to play. They survived the tournament, just, can they survive the war against the king of the underworld. Can Erin best her father?
