it’s your basic middle aged couple fighting in a pared down settling thing that was popular in the 1950‘s
Also i read the German translation so…should reread someday for better comprehension

In a few years, when I'm older and hopefully have more knowledge, I will go back and re-read this. As for now, I have to be honest that my 20-year-old self did not understand this play. I have a bit of inkling of what this might be about, but I know I have to read more before I finally can understand this.

Some good lines but overall quite unenjoyable.
Would not recommend it to anyone I like (or dislike).

Good for an actress that would like to hear herself babble for an hour at the stage.
I get the unhappy marriage, absurdity, existentialism thingie, being binded to a person that does not give you anything for the shake of doing so- he could have transferred that in a less boring way.
