I had to do a re-read of this! I forgot how much I loved it. It’s a fucked up sort of love, but he loves Holls so much and I love a guy that’s do anything for the one he loves. I love Bates! Sue me.

Delicate Things has become one of my favorites from Yolanda. It was a very different story with unique characters that were likable even if they were a bit cuckoo. I loved that this one was more of a dark romance than just horror. I got to have some romance once in awhile!!

Fab

This carries on where Wicked Things left off . We get to know Hollis and Bates a lot better and understand their messed up dynamic.

OMG what can I say about this book. As you start to read this book you are lulled to think that this is a regular love story between Holly and Bates. Oh how wrong you will be. Bates is an artist who uses very unusual material for his creations, Holly has been bullied throughout her life and although she tries to think she is strong, she uses Bates as a crutch and relies on him all the time, as you read this book you find out that they have a very unusual relationship. I am not going to say any more about the book as I do not want to spoil it.
This book is dark and if you have a sensitive nature then do not read it. Me I loved it, the author threw so many twists that I kept reading it just to see what happened next, making this a quick read. She explains the characters in depth, helping you understand their relationship and what makes them tick. The author kept the biggest surprise to the end and what a shocker, I spent 5 minutes after finishing it with my mouth wide open in shock. Let’s just say I was not expecting that.
Great read and I will definitely read more from her

I read the beta copy of this story, a few chapters at a time. No Spoilers and be warned this is a dark story.
I think this author's mind is a scary place, time and time again through the book I felt icky, where do these thoughts come from?
This is the strangest, gory love story, maybe not a love story but a scary meeting of two like minded insane people.
Blood and body parts are art....or food!
Towards the ending I remember thinking why??? 'Why' was answered at the ending which was a 'what the hell' moment. I did not see THAT coming.

Bates and Hollis have an ODD relationship to say the least. Throw some depravity and horror in and you've got their love story. A quick dark read if you're looking for one.

First book that I've read by this author and what a dark and twisted read. I bloody loved it (sorry pun intended!) Hollis is different and meets her match with Bates, a guy who has his own quirks and craziness and together they find their balance in life. Trust has been severely shaken up in this relationship though and they are both out to prove what they will do to restore their bond. That ending - holy hell - didn't see that one coming, but it was a light bulb moment for me! Can't wait to check out Yolanda's other books.

This was absolutely insane. I was given this to read by my mum, and honestly if this is the stuff she's reading I want no part in it. It was written well, and I was invested, but I don't think I ever want to read something like this again. Just a one time experience for me!
