The TV episode of this is WAY better than the book and that normally doesn't' get said but in this case, it is true for me. This wasn't creepy or scary at all, I remember picking this up as a kid and then putting it down. Now I remember why haha still love Goosebumps though. :)

If a yard gnome comes to life and tells you that it's a "mischief gnome" that cannot stop doing bad things, why would you follow it to a basement? o_O

Joe and his sister have a Dad who is fanatic about lawn ornaments, He has many all over the lawn both in the front and in the back. ANd now he hs brought two more tacky lawn pieces, this time they are in the shape of a lawn Gnomers.

But something is not quite right. WHo is smashing Joe's and his best friend Moose (who fathers are both fanatics about their lawns) fruit and vegetables? Running their chances for award-winning gardens. Now the parents are in troublesome waters and Joe claims the gnomes did it, after all, he saw them moving in the foggy night.

Now Joe and Moose set out to catch the gnomes and they do and they want help so they go along with Joe sister, Mindy.

Didn't care for them as much as other R.L Stine books I read. And I didn't think it was because I listened to this book through the audiobook. I just think it wasn't the strongest of R.L. Stine's work.
