I struggled to get into this book-mainly because of the business of the season. Once I made time so sit down to finish this book I devoured it. I loved Cleo and her story. This is a fun read!

I loved it

I love this novel! It was so good. Not at all how I expected it to be but once it got rolling, I couldn’t put it down! I just wish I knew what happens with Cleo McDougal!!!

Oooo I loved this book something fierce. I think the author found the perfect balance in describing the challenges women face in our society today. I initially was going to rank it four stars, but then the more I thought about it the more I couldn't find a single thing I'd change about the book and the more I loved it. Cleo was a flawed character but still was able to have the strength I wish I could have. I think my favorite line from the book was - "Of course they had to be smarter. They were women." The 'of course' really got to me as so many people don't understand it's something unwritten, but expected. I wish more books could write their female characters like Allison Winn Scotch did.

I definitely enjoyed this book. The whole idea of having a list of your regrets and then trying to make amends is so appealing to me. I definitely appreciated the relationship between Cleo and her sister Georgie and watching how that changed as Cleo truly began to understand who she is.

Witty, and fun with a more serious underlying intent about living, reconciling, and opening yourself up to those who love you. Sometimes the choices we make aren't the best ones.

Audible great narrator story ok

I felt is was a little slow to get started and found Cleo annoying. Midway through I began to appreciate the story a bit more. Love the narrator Julia Whelan

Cleo was a slow start for me but I got more invested as she worked the “list”. It was well written and I enjoyed the self reflection and growth in all the characters. The ending I felt was perfect and realistic to the theme and climax of the story.
Note: this book isn’t about politics really. It’s more about self discovery and how our identities can get blurred or tied up in an idea of who we are or more importantly - who we THINK we are.
