Aika valmiiksi pureskeltu mutta sympaattinen tarina neljästä lomailijasta, joiden elämät muuttuvat Kreikassa.

I picked up this book from the thrift store because I kept seeing this author and decided to pick up a book. I didn't know what to expect so I went in without any preconceived notions. I enjoyed the story and the writing wasn't bad either. I think of you would like a nice read, you can pick this one up and be satisfied.

I read this for a challenge and really enjoyed it. The characters were all likeable except for Shane. I really felt like I was right there with everyone I was reading about!

Nights of Rain and Stars by Maeve Binchy was for just another book. I was brought in by her setting, loving every moment of the Greek setting but I have to say that her characters at times fell flat and her plot was just a bit too predictable and nicely wrapped up. A quick and easy read but honestly, I had to read the summary to remember what this book was all about. Very forgettable.

Eh. This was pleasant enough, and once I got the characters straight it was easy, brain-off reading. A little too long, I thought, and I ended up skimming to the end. I loved "Circle of Friends" when I read it years ago, and this is the first Binchy I've read since then. Maybe I just prefer her earlier stuff? Oh well.
