It's fine. The plot is good and engaging. The characters are pretty much basic stock characters, especially the women. The writing is overdone: Maybe it's because of the writer/professor POV or maybe that's just how this guy writes. Dialogue doesn't feel like it was ever spoken aloud. The POV switches kept me on my toes and interested. Again, it's fine.

This is a pretty good murder mystery. The story is about a man whose student goes missing. As a result, he claims her thesis paper as his own writing and publishes it. Then, she comes back to town, looking for revenge. I liked this premise a lot. I felt the execution of the book was just okay and by about 250 pages in I was pretty sure I knew who the killer was going to be. This book was a tiny bit suspenseful and it was interesting.
