This is a thoroughly enjoyable read. John Sutter is a successful lawyer married to a Long Island heiress. But he is as WASP as they come and his dull life is lacking a bit of spark. Into his midlife crisis enters his new neighbor, Mafia Don Frank Bellarosa. At first John resists Frank's overtures to be friendly neighbors but eventually the perceived romance of the Mafia Boss's secret life proves too great a lure. Everything John holds dear and sacred is now in the crosshairs as his life begins to irrevocably change in ways he could never foresee.

Actually only read about 1/3 of this book! I could not get into it. I love his John Corey series and his stand alone books, but there didn't seem to be much of a story line in this one; at for me. Too many other books out there to read/listen to.
