Wow! This has to be the most disappointing book I've ever read. From 30% in I was skipping pages, then chapters! NOTHING was happening in between!!! I ended up becoming angry about wasting 99p on this book! If the main character (I've ALREADY forgotten her name) mentioned once that money was tight then she mentioned it 50 times more! I enjoyed A Million Love Songs by the same author which led me to purchase this book but I felt incredibly let down.

this was... okay. I didn't realise this followed another novel, but luckily it could stand as a standalone. the story was just a bit meh. it didn't really go anywhere and there were things that annoyed me or didn't make sense. there were only two people working in the café before Fay came back, so it sounds like they both just worked every day? and Rainbow was under 18, didn't she have some other place to be? how Rainbow's character was written just made me sigh sometimes. yes she's young but how she spoke and acted was too much. and the last thing that bothered me, was how Fay and Danny decide to try to have a baby but they are literally broke? they have zero money and think it's smart to bring another baby into the mix. it just felt irresponsible. I was hoping this to be a cute, festive story to bring me in the Christmas spirit but sadly it disappointed me

Used my first day off to finish this beauty!

This book has really got me in the Christmas spirit. I book full of love, fun and friends.

Fay returns back to the Cafè for Christmas but little does she know that this trip back will be full of everything she would never expect.

I feel like I really connected with Fay in this book being around to support her friends and make the most out of her life but it just shows that not everything can be planned down to the last detail.

I really enjoyed this book and it’s really gotten me into the Christmas spirit.
