Read aloud to my 11yo, although this was also my first time reading. I’ve seen all the movies. We liked this the best of the HP books we’ve read together. Daughter gave it 4 stars out of 5. She was definitely engaged and often wanted me to continue reading past when our time was up.

I love Allen Rickman but book Snape is so hateful and cruel. despite that, the ending of this book was more delightful than I remembered!
