Could've been a 5-star for me, but the last quarter of the book, with a constant back and forth between the characters, got a little tiring. The book is too long.

I rarely give books 5 stars but this book was amazing. The age gap isn't crazy big in my opinion and there's no creepy predator vibes at all. Lucky is always respectful. I just loved their relationship from the start and the way it developed was slow but not so slow as to make me loose interest. This was a great book and I highly recommend it!

I read this for the marriage of convenience trope and in spite of the age gap. An 18 year old female with a 34 year old man was a little much for me but the marriage of convenience was worth it.

I did feel like it would have been better with less of an age gap because quite frankly she was way to trusting of a man she barely knew, but it is fiction...

I did like how as they got to know each other they fell for each other. But what I really liked was how supportive he was of her medical and mental health needs. I also liked how it brought awareness to both.
